Macintosh BBS setups running Telefinder and “BBS IN A BOX” will find setup very easy.
Simply open your configuration file in Telefinder Host, after mounting the CD-ROM and select the “AMUG CD” to mount. This will give your BBS's users access to all of the files on the disk. Or you can just mount a few of the folders but be sure you include the Files folder if you do not want to mount the entire disk. We have removed the system software from this folder and placed it in the Goodies folder in order to allow all sysops the ability to mount the files portion of the CD-ROM without having an Apple License Agreement.
If you do not currently own Telefinder you can purchase it from:
Spider Island Software / Rusty Tucker
4790 Irvine Blvd, #105-347
Irvine, CA 92720
AppleLink: D4955
(714) 669-9260
I strongly suggest that you consider using Telefinder with Fidonet echoes. The Fidonet / Tabby interface tools for Telefinder can be purchased for $25.00 from:
AMUG John W. Sinteur
4131 N. 24th Street #A-120 OR Strawinskypad 82
Phoenix, AZ 85016 2324 DB Leiden

Support the Authors!
If you have additional features you would like to see added to “BBS in a BOX”, please feel free to write or call us. We are interested in making the world of public domain and shareware easily understandable to the Macintosh public.
AMUG spends thousands of hours creating the BBS interface on this CD-ROM. Any charge for this CD-ROM is solely to support the creation of the BBS interface. No fee is charged to download any of the shareware and public domain files provided on this CD-ROM.
Only by supporting the shareware authors and sending in the requested shareware fees, will this type of software distribution continue. If you decompress a file and find it useful, please pay the shareware fee if you continue to use the program. When users are dishonest with the authors, they become soured on the shareware market and may stop updating their programs, publishing new programs, or they sell their products commercially. Thanks again for supporting Shareware and Public Domain authors!
